In 1992, Dr. Marco Paret founded the ISI-CNV — the International Institute of Non-Verbal Communication — with a clear mission: to recover and transmit the most powerful non-verbal techniques ever documented in the Western tradition.
These are techniques that ancient hypnotists used to produce profound states without words and very quickly. If you read the old books, you discover that some of these practitioners achieved results that modern verbal hypnosis simply cannot replicate. There is a secret underneath — and it is physiological, rooted in the nervous system, observable and transmissible.
Dr. Paret’s teaching lineage runs directly from the masters who held this knowledge: Virgilio T., who transmitted the secret of the fascinatory gaze through 25 years of direct practice; Prof. Erminio Di Pisa, who defined fascination as “instant hypnosis” after working with over 250,000 people. Dr. Paret is their documented successor — and the one who made the impossible didactic possible: teaching what others could not teach, so that what seems magical becomes replicable.
Fascination is not only the power of the eyes to charm — technically it creates much more, a co-regulation of the nervous system of the subject and of the practitioner — and it is a core discipline of our Institute. It is the original system that connects the practitioner’s inner preparation with energy-building and rejuvenation techniques.
This is the most advanced non-verbal approach in the world, because it does not merely describe: it transforms. Its power is demonstrated by the fact that the non-verbal element alone can produce hypnosis — and this is already proof of the potency of these techniques.
You will not learn just “what to do.” You will learn how to shift your own inner state — because that is where the source is, where the effect on others originates. What you are influences and inspires others. Before you even speak, your nervous system is already communicating.
Our method is fully consistent with modern neuroscience — particularly polyvagal theory — while continuing a rare and extremely powerful tradition. Ancient non-verbal techniques documented since the 1800s have found precise confirmation in contemporary neuroscience. Dr. Paret is periodically invited to present Polyvagal Therapy with his techniques at scientific conferences at the university level. In 2024 in Oradea, in 2025 at the Congress of Psychiatry in Timișoara, and in 2026 he has already been invited as the guest star of two further congresses. The result is a system that healthcare professionals can use within their own professional scope.
Our formation follows three stages, each building on the previous:
Mesmerism. The method elaborated by Franz Anton Mesmer allows profound physiological shifts to take place rapidly, especially when a group is formed and the energetic nervous field of the room is activated. Our techniques continue directly from the lineage of Mesmer, Puységur, Du Potet and the Durville brothers, who founded a secret order whose practices we preserve today.
Fascination & Gaze. Our lineage in this field comes from Virgilio T. and Donato. Virgilio was capable of instantly fascinating another person. Donato is a historically significant figure who impressed the whole of Europe simply by looking at people. What is certain is the existence of a high degree of mutual similarity in their techniques — a living tradition that we carry forward.
Presence. The cultivation of the inner state from which everything else originates. Drawing from the School of Presence in Nice, hermetic traditions and modern neuroscience, this is the dimension where technique becomes embodied mastery.
Beyond the Magnetic Path, the Institute offers advanced certifications in NLP-3 (the evolution of classical NLP integrating the body, the gaze and the autonomic nervous system), Quantum Coaching, Hermetic Magnetism, Certified Hypnotherapy, Magnetic Massage and the complete Trainer path. Every programme can be fully personalised. There are simple secrets that open the door — and a lifetime of depth for those who choose to go further.
Results are observable in the session itself. A nervous state shift in 30 to 120 seconds — documented with polysomnography. From the autonomous nervous system, not from the conscious mind.

Many of our own teachers started as students. The path from learner to practitioner to teacher is part of the living tradition we carry. This is something that can be learned — and that we transmit through our programmes.
Our school has promoted the model of continued education for decades. Every certificate specifically mentions this commitment. The school organises regular moments of continuing formation, and every trainer is invited to deepen their practice continuously in order to elevate the level of what they offer.

Modern tools — video lectures, guided reading programmes and supervised sessions — support those who prefer distance learning.
